Welcome to Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas Sign

A smaller version of the iconic Las Vegas welcome sign was erected by the Las Vegas City Council in 2002 north of the Las Vegas Strip to put it closer to the actual city. As such, the Welcome to Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas is found north of the Las Vegas Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard just within the city limits of the city of Las Vegas proper.
