Approximately 4.2 miles long, the Strip begins south at the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign at Las Vegas Boulevard and Russell Road and stretches north along Las Vegas Boulevard to Sahara Avenue. Most of the world’s largest hotel, casino and resort properties are located along the Strip, which altogether offers one of the most iconic displays of dramatic architecture. The city’s rapidly evolving skyline and constant modernization of hotels, casinos, restaurants, residential high-rises and entertainment offerings along the Strip has established it as one of the most popular destinations for tourists in the United States and the world. HIGH ROLLER Standing high as the focal point of The LINQ, an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district, the High Roller has become an iconic fixture at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Hard to miss since March 2014, the High Roller is the world’s tallest Ferris wheel at 550 feet and features 28 enclosed, air-conditioned and roomy transparent pods that can hold 40 passengers each for enjoying a smooth ride standing or upon a few benches.
