Robert N. Broadbent-Las Vegas Monorail
The Robert N. Broadbent-Las Vegas Monorail has one of the smallest footprints of any elevated transit systems in the world and has the ability to speed riders from one end of the Strip to the other in just 15 minutes. When it opened in 1995, the Las Vegas Monorail was short with only two stations linking the MGM Grand and Bally’s, but it still carried more passengers than some light rail systems 15 times longer with far more stations. Over time, this privately built and operated monorail has been grown to nearly the length of the famous Las Vegas Strip, beginning still at MGM Grand on the south end of the Strip and terminating at the north end of the Strip at the SLS Las Vegas.
