Liberal Arts & Sciences Building (LAS)

The Liberal Arts & Sciences Building (LAS) building at Nevada State College (NSC) first opened in August 2008 as the college’s first building on its campus site. This building offers of a number of classrooms, labs, facility offices and support services and was oriented to maximize its north-south exposure and fit into the desert environment. From biology to psychology to history and beyond, the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences department at NSC offers a wide array of intriguing majors, minors and concentrations, building in students a strong foundation in critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills. Students enjoy small classes and working closely with distinguished faculty who are accomplished scholars, teachers and mentors.
